Julie Ladd
Julie is a Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor.
Since starting out teaching just a few Pilates classes in 2002, the company has grown enormously and now offers around 30 mat-based Pilates classes a week, taught by 5 instructors, in and around Worcester and Malvern. Julie has trained extensively over the years with a number of different schools of Pilates, initially qualifying as an Instructor with the APPI, and more recently is a graduate of the Polestar Comprehensive Training specialising in using the studio equipment. |
As well as teaching classes herself, Julie specialises in working on a one-to-one basis with clients. This allows her to use her skills as a Physiotherapist to assess movement disorders and design tailored programs for clients addressing any issues they may have. At her clinic in Hanley Swan she has a Reformer and Cadillac which are pieces of Pilates equipment designed by Joseph Pilates to both assist and challenge clients in their Pilates work-outs.
She works with a wide range of people from those with injuries or conditions such as Parkinsons or MS, right through to professional athletes wanting to work on injury recovery and prevention. Julie worked with Professional rugby players at Worcester Warriors for 2 seasons. For more information see the one to one page. |
